Your Gentle Touch
The sweet taste of your lips are like honey for my life,
The soft warm touch of your body close to mine,
The look in your eyes burns like embers in a fire,
This my love means far more to this fainting heart
Than sunshine and food or even ruby red wine;
Because the sunshine gives way when the night is near,
And the food and the ruby red wine lasts only a short while,
But your gentle touch and the love in your heart
Is etched upon my soul forever more.

You
You with your
gentle lightning
spinning like Orion,
full of muscle
and all the patience
of stars.
Hooked upone the pinnacle
of a desire
that arrests
itself,
caught on the crosswires
of what could be,
my mind turns to you:
A pin hole of light
that softly hums
and murmurs
whose blurry edges
beg to come into view.
